6th Aegina Fistiki Fest
Having
as a motto the phrase “Earth, Light, Taste, Culture”, this year’s
Aegina Fistiki Fest will take place for the 6th consecutive year from
September 18, 2014 to September 21, 2014.
The fest is dedicated to the internationally known Pistachio (Fistiki) of Aegina Island (a Protected Designation of Origin product) with its unique taste and quality. It takes place every year since 2009 in the middle of September when the pistachio’s harvest is completed.
Apart from the commercial exhibition along the town of Aegina’s seafront, the Aegina Fistiki Fest includes gastronomy events, creative activities, workshops for children, concerts, seminars etc. This year, the whole island will participate in the fest.
The 6th Aegina Fistiki Fest is organised by the Municipality of Aegina in collaboration with local producers.
